Jay Flynn has worked in online information management for almost 20 years in a variety of roles, including technology, sales, marketing, and editorial. He began his career in database management and design in the UK and Germany before moving into digital product sales at Elsevier Engineering Information. After a move to Elsevier’s New York office to work on the launch of Science Direct, he joined the Wolters Kluwer Health where he was VP, Clinical Markets. Jay joined Cengage Learning in 2005, where he had responsibility for online product development and publishing in the social and health sciences. Jay has been at Wiley since 2010, and is currently the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Research Publishing . He has responsibility for a program of 800+ journals, sponsored publications and Open Access.
