Natasha White is Director, Author Marketing at Wiley where she is responsible for driving Open Access and Author Engagement Marketing strategy, working on positioning Wiley as the first choice publisher for authors by making the author experience the best it can be and helping Wiley retain our author base, attract new authors, and in turn publish more and generate more author-based revenues. Before joining Wiley Natasha ran her own marketing consultancy during 2007 – 2009. Prior to that Natasha was Sales and Marketing Director at BioMed Central, the leading open access publisher, for over six years. With overall responsibility for the global marketing, sales, PR, creative design, and customer service, the company went from strength to strength. During her time at BioMed Central Natasha saw the company gain global recognition and reach profitability in a very competitive marketplace. Before joining BioMed Central Natasha worked for Macmillan Publishers in various marketing roles including Marketing Manager for journals and reference products in the Nature Publishing Group portfolio.
